Spoonie Meal Hack

This easy 10-minute skillet meal is the ultimate low-effort dinner for days when you can’t plan, measure, or think. Start with onion and garlic, add whatever vegetables and legumes you have, season to taste, and finish with a splash of acid. A flexible, one-pan vegetarian pantry meal that turns random fridge ingredients into a real dinner.

Equipment

  • Frying pan
  • Wooden spoon or spatula
  • Chopping board
  • Kitchen knife

Ingredients
  

  • Olive oil or other cooking oil
  • Onion chopped
  • Garlic diced (from a jar)
  • Vegetables any
  • Legumes any
  • Seasoning of choice
  • Acid e.g. lemon juice, vinegar, wine

Instructions
 

  1. Heat Olive oil in a frying pan.
  2. Chop an Onion. Start it cooking.
  3. While the onion softens, look in the fridge.
  4. Chop whatever Vegetables needs using. Add.
  5. Now is also the time to add Garlic.
  6. Add a cup of Legumes.
  7. Add Seasoning of choice.
  8. Finishing touch: add a splash of Acid
